Garnett’s celebrates VCU coaches the only way the know how, with sandwiches

The Dutchman and The Coach are named after the outgoing and incoming coaches at VCU basketball.

A good sandwich is a good sandwich but a sandwich that has ties (unofficial of course) to VCU basketball will have you bouncing back for more.

Garnett’s Cafe is offering the following for your dining pleasure.

We are stoked to show our RVA and VCU love with Friday’s special sandwich THE DUTCHMAN.

THE DUTCHMAN is a new Pennsylvania-inspired sandwich for new VCU coach Mike Rhoades, with roast beef, Gouda, coleslaw, and potato chips.

We also have a sandwich on the menu (UNTIL WE CAN GET NEW MENUS PRINTED) named THE COACH after outgoing VCU coach Will Wade. The sandwich in and of itself is quite delicious, but may have a bitter, snakey taste if you think too hard about Will Wade while eating it.
