Are you amphibian curious?

Become a member of FrogWatch and provide data on the declining amphibian population.

The flyer below was spotted at Pony Pasture. During the right season you can also spot the Spotted Salamander as seen above in the area. The Ambystoma maculatum is just one of the critters you can learn about as you become a trained member of the FrogWatch program. If you can’t make it to the training session but still want to learn about the frogs and other creatures of the James a great resource is the Virginia Herpetological Society.
