Online registration for Shiver in the River closes tonight, shivering occurs on Saturday

It’s time for a Community Clean Up along the banks of the James, run/walk in the 5K and/or take a chilly dip in the James. Followed by food, drinks, music and more fun.

Online registration for Shiver in River will end tonight at midnight, January 26th. On-line preregistration is the only guarantees you a shirt for participating in the 5K and James River Jump. Participants can still register at Hardywood on Friday the 27th and at Tredegar on the 28th, starting at 9:30am.

What is Shiver in the River all about?

Join us for a Community Clean Up along the banks of the James, run/walk in the 5K and/or take a chilly dip in the James. Hang out before and after for the Winter Festival including heated tents, food and beverage vendors, music, and a fun environmental atmosphere for everyone involved.

Whether you join us for the Community Clean Up, participate in the 5K, Jump into the chilly James or join us for the Winter Festival, you will be helping us move towards a cleaner and healthier Virginia! This is a fundraising event benefiting Keep Virginia Beautiful.
