WORK IN STRANGEWAYS

Some folks dream of working in the craft beer industry but can’t make a beer to save their life. Fortunately a modern brewery is a whole lot more than just making beer. There are all sorts of jobs that need to be done and one of those is Marketing the beers. Strangeways is looking for just such a person. Now’s your chance to job on the beer train as a Marketing Coordinator. More information on Facebook.

The main purpose of the Marketing Coordinator will be to provide and drive sales, develop, coordinate, and implement successful marketing strategies and campaigns, and be given the chance to develop leadership skills where applicable.

CRAFT AND DRAFTS

The name says it all but this graphic tells you a bit more but lacks the address of Crossroads which is 3600 Forest Hill Avenue.

THE GOV’S BEER

RVA Mag has the details on Gov. Terry McAuliffe and folks from Ardent Craft Ales, Hardywood Park Craft Brewery and Stone Brewing Company in the creation of Give Me Stout or Give Me Death.

Give Me Stout or Give me Death is a dark brown 9.5% imperial stout that incorporates Virginia grown raspberries, blackberries, hops and malts and is a collaborative effort among the breweries and the governor which they began earlier this summer. This brew marks the first local collaborative release for the Stone’s Richmond facility on Williamsburg Avenue, which opened in February.

COTU TRAVESTY

travesty

It’s not a feeble attempt by me to stir up controversy it’s a beer release party on Saturday from 12-9 PM.

Don’t let everything be such a travesty with you, man! Join us as we release a NEW Imperial Milk Stout, aged in rum barrels. A decadent brew, with a hefty body, notes of vanilla, and a creamy finish, this brew would home rolling rocks on the lanes, or baby sitting a Pomeranian with papers. The Travesty will be availabe in bottles and on draft.

Susan DePhillip duo will provide entertainment from 4-7 pm, and Intergalactic Tacos will be onsite serving some delicious eats.
