Chocolates by Kelly opens today downtown

Downtown just got a lot sweeter.

Starting this morning at 11 AM downtowners craving chocolate and other sweetness need only walk over to 414 W. Broad Street to be sated. Kelly of Chocolates by Kelly has been crafting chocolates in Richmond since 2008. Chocolate however runs in her blood. She learned much of her craft from her grandmother. So you’re tasting decades and decades of experience when you bit into a chocolate.

Kelly’s chocolates have bit of a cult following and if you give them a try, you’ll understand why. I can’t recommend the milk chocolate covered caramels enough.

The shop on W. Broad Street will serve as both the retail space and production facility. When not busy selling and making the shop will be hosting classes and special events celebrating chocolate.
