RVA Beer Explorer

RVA Beer Explorer: Crawl, Abide, Last Halloween, Still Festing, Drunk Carrots

A sampler of what the Richmond beer scene has to offer. Cheers.

Drink walking is totally a thing. In Scott’s Addition you have the bonus of not having to walk far at all. Not only that but participants can pick up Booz Crawl cards at any of the locations.  Once you get three unique stamps from any of the participating alcohol producers you’ll be entered to win a $25 gift card individually for each location.

I’m not sure what it all means but Legend Brewing is saying:

We are celebrating Halloween one last time here at Legend!

We are having costume contests with prizes, great food and drink specials, as well as music by DJ Cerebral Knievel!

Free to join the fun and all ages are welcomed!

So the “last time” is happening this Saturday starting at 7 PM. Is it the last time ever, the last time this year, the last time at this location? If you go find out for us okay?

Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery’s Carrot Cake beer was a smashing success. This week it’ll be even more smashing when they release Bourbon Barrel Carrot Cake. It’s happening at the Farm this Saturday (10/29) from 12-7. Only 1,000 bottles available so if you want some be sure and head out to the country.

That rug really tied the whole room together but it’s El Duderino the beer that people are chasing down. You’ll be able to sit back and discuss life and bowling on Saturday at the Center of the Universe.

The Dude returns! Join us in the taproom to welcome our decadent White Russian Milk Stout, El Duderino. Created with eight different malts and vanilla beans, El Duderino pours midnight black, capped with tan pillowy head and features flavors of chocolate and espresso. What a perfect way to kick off the dark beer season!

Yeah, we know Trevor is the other half of RVA Hub so this is a bit self-promoting but c’mon. The video is pretty damn cute.
