Check your bike’s tire pressure, the last Breakaway RVA ride is next week
If you haven’t joined in a Breakaway this is your last chance to change that this year.
Breakaway RVA has sounded the trumpets for the last ride of 2016. Hold your tears plans are to be back in the spring.
The sixth and final free bike meetup of 2016, is set for Thursday, October 27th. As always we can’t give you the destination. The last ride ended at ARC Park Richmond.
We can tell you that the previous five Breakaways have been stunning successes. Each one has grown and it’s expected by the year 2019 Richmond participation will reach 95%. The reason for this stunning success is simple. It’s a fun time, outside, on your bike with like minded folks.

Here are the nitty not so gritty details in case this the first you’ve heard of Breakaway RVA. The link is also where you got to sign up for the ride.
To participate in the ride, bikers simply select one of five neighborhood routes, from which a route leader will guide the group on a leisurely ride to a mid-point location. The peloton will then be guided towards our predetermined final destination.
Neighborhood starting point locations will be released the day of the event and registration will close at midnight the day before. Guests are asked to arrive at their designated starting point 15-20 minutes before the scheduled time, and are encouraged to equip themselves with a headlight, tail light, helmet, and water.
