A great opportunity to see supremely talented artists at work.

Richmond is known for its tattooed citizens. The number of tattoos per capita will go up after this weekend after locals and visitors attend the 24th Annual Richmond Tattoo & Arts Festival at the DoubleTree by Hilton (1021 Koger Center Boulevard).

The festival runs September 30th through October 2nd. Ink starts getting laid down today, Friday at 3 PM and last until midnight. Saturday it’s 12-12 and Sunday 12-8 PM.

Door ticket prices for Friday & Sunday: $22.50, Saturday: $27.50 or if you play on attending all three days $60.00. Children 12 and under get in for Free!

It’s way too late to think about getting a tattoo by the most sought out artists but you still might be able to get a tattoo but one of the many other talented folks working their craft.

If you get bored of checking out all the tattoos being laid down there are plenty of other activities to see (full event schedule). Including those of the flaming variety with Fire Performances by P.L.F.  and something a little more revealing with the Burlesque & Variety show hosted by Deanna Danger.
