RVA East End Festival: The Gift of Music will take place May 6 – 8 at Chimborazo Park.

More from Church Hill RVA:

With the resurgence of the East End, it makes perfect sense that the Richmond Symphony as well as the City of Richmond chose Church Hill for the very first RVA East End Festival.

Three days of music, anchored by the Richmond Symphony and performed under their enormous outdoor tent. Full performance schedule to be announced.

The purpose of the festival, which is being hosted by the City of Richmond, the Symphony, and community partners, is to create an inclusive community celebration, focused on the diverse neighborhoods and the unique quality of the East End.

Proceeds from the festival will be used to support and enhance music education in Richmond Public Schools within the 7th District.

Kicking off the festivities will be the Symphony, Desiree Roots, and No BS Brass Band, and audiences can expect a wide variety of performances, food trucks, vendor booths, and a kids zone.

Stay tuned to churchhillrva.org for more information about performance schedules and volunteer opportunities.
