Lace up your shoes and get your cheering voice warmed up, the Monument 10K hits the street on Saturday but events start today.
Implementation of the new fees will support the city’s Vision Zero initiative by promoting a faster removal of work zones, which will allow for normal vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle travel.
Thousands of participants will take to the city streets on Saturday morning for the much anticipated Monument Avenue 10K and there will be some road closures.
The 6,300-square-foot establishment will take a 10,000-square-foot space on MacTavish Avenue later this year.
The Kickers ended up with a 0-0 draw against a team that was riding high with 2 back-to-back wins.
Last Saturday’s season opener at home didn’t go as planned. The Kickers are back at it this weekend and hoping to grab the win.
