Hello!! I’m the owner of DBF (had my social media guy do the post on IG so sorry about the bottom typo but here’s the scoop since lots of people have been asking and talking about the announcement!)
Die by Fry had been on its last leg for a bit now, it was a great and fun concept but fries is a very unsustainable food as it’s not a meal type food. Maybe in a different location or place with lots of new traffic it might but for a central VA style restaurant, how many times can someone eat fries before they say “it’s pretty unhealthy” lol
We’ve had hiccups but always tried our best, in the end it really wasn’t sustainable. So yes we are shutting down, but me being the stubborn person I am I can’t ever give up on anything I do so I’ll work for the next 2 months on a better concept that would hopefully do great!
Sorry for anyone that is upset at this news and thank you for everyone who has been with us through this journey!
Didn’t mean to make it sound misleading if it was lol, for now I’ma put my head down and give you guys updates as soon as possible with what’s next to come!!
