Jewish Family Theatre stages Guys and Dolls this December
The Weinstein JCC troupe will present seven performances of the classic musical comedy from December 4th through 14th.
The Weinstein JCC’s Jewish Family Theatre will stage the musical Guys and Dolls in a seven-show run from December 4th through December 14th. The production brings Frank Loesser’s score and Damon Runyon’s stylized New York City to the center’s stage, marking a local revival of a show widely regarded as one of Broadway’s landmark musical comedies.
Guys and Dolls debuted on Broadway in 1950 and ran for 1,200 performances. The original production earned strong critical praise and won multiple awards, including Tony Awards and Drama Desk honors. The story follows gamblers, mission workers, and showgirls from Times Square to Havana and back, with the plot centering on a pair of wagers that complicate the characters’ personal lives.
The Jewish Family Theatre has not yet released additional production details such as casting or creative team notes. Information on dates, showtimes, and tickets is available through the Weinstein JCC’s website at the Jewish Family Theatre’s Guys and Dolls page.
