Terror returns to the farm: Ashland Berry Farm unveils four haunted attractions for 2025
The Richmond-area scare staple is back with new haunts, frights, and fall treats all season long.
Ashland Berry Farm’s “Terror on the Farm” returns this Halloween season with four brand-new haunted attractions designed to thrill, chill, and terrify. Running select nights from October 3 through November 1, 2025, the long-running event will once again transform the quiet Beaverdam farm into a sprawling scream-filled scarefest after dark.
This year’s lineup introduces four original haunts, each with its own theme and horror twist:
- Black Water Bayou – Guests will navigate a haunted swamp where the land itself seems to pull visitors into the darkness.
- Last Chance: Dead & Breakfast – A grim hotel experience where checking in is easy… but checking out may not be.
- Psycho Path 3D – A high-intensity maze filled with visual distortions, illusions, and unnerving surprises.
- Booger Woods: Nightwalkers Edition – A haunted hike through a forest alive with terrifying creatures and creeping shadows.
Each attraction is designed to immerse visitors in a unique horror experience, combining physical sets, live actors, sound design, and interactive elements to heighten the fear factor.
Terror on the Farm operates from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on select nights through Halloween weekend. Tickets are limited and typically sell out early in the season. Tickets and full schedule information are available here.
While the nighttime hours cater to horror fans, Ashland Berry Farm continues its family-friendly daytime offerings during the fall season, including a 30-acre pumpkin patch, hayrides, food vendors, and other autumn activities. After facing the haunts, evening visitors can gather around a bonfire and enjoy seasonal treats like hand-cut fries and fresh donuts.
Founded in 1978, Ashland Berry Farm is located at 12607 Old Ridge Road in Beaverdam, Virginia. For more information on events, directions, or to purchase tickets, visit their website here.
