The Richmond Renaissance Faire made the announcement on Instagram. They’ve found a home and event dates. Huzzah.

Mark thy calendars, good folk, for the 2026 Richmond Ren Faire taking place on April 18th and 19th at Dorey Park!

Inspired by the multicultural exchanges of the Silk Road, this weekend long Faire celebrates the diverse ideas, craftsmanship, and storytelling that made the Renaissance a global moment of connection while shifting the spotlight to the underrepresented tradesmen, artisans, and everyday people whose work truly shaped the era.

By elevating these narratives and weaving them together with Richmond’s unique artistic voices, the Faire becomes both a reimagined history and a living celebration of community that reflects the city’s vibrant creative spirit.
