Person of Interest Sought in Burglary of Convenience Store on N. 8th Street

At approximately 4:15 a.m., on Monday, June 24, an unknown male smashed a front window of a convenience store, located in the 00 block of North 8th Street.

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual in these photos who is a person of interest in a burglary of a convenience store.

At approximately 4:15 a.m., on Monday, June 24, an unknown male smashed a front window of a convenience store, located in the 00 block of North 8th Street. He entered the store and stole tobacco and other products, exited the store, and fled the area on foot.

Fourth Precinct detectives have released photos of an individual who waited outside the store during the burglary. He is pictured with a bicycle and also while wearing a blue shirt at a different location.

Anyone with information about the identity of this individual or this incident is asked to call Fourth Precinct Detective D. Marakovitz at (804) 646-4636 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
