39th annual Lebanese Food Festival kicks off in Glen Allen today

The 39th annual Lebanese Food Festival will take place from May 17 to 19, 2024, at St. Anthony Maronite Church in Glen Allen.

Attendees can enjoy a rich culinary experience featuring traditional Lebanese dishes such as hummus, shawarma, falafel, grape leaves, baked kibbee, and various pies. The festival also offers delightful desserts like baklawa and katayef, ensuring a full spectrum of Lebanese flavors.

In addition to the gastronomic delights, the festival will host live performances by the Mazloom Family and traditional Lebanese dancing by youth groups, enhancing the festive atmosphere with cultural entertainment. The event hours are 11 AM to 10 PM on Friday and Saturday and 10 AM to 8 PM on Sunday.

The event’s parking is well-organized, with on-site parking at the church and additional off-site parking at Markel, complemented by free shuttle services. A designated area is available for those picking up online takeout orders, ensuring convenience for all attendees.
