At approximately 10 AM emergency services were called for an electrocution and transformer fire. According to eyewitnesses on the scene a cherrypicker hit powerlines and immediately caught fire. This has not been verified by RFD. There was at least one injury but no report of his condition. No houses were in danger and several Richmond Fired trucks were on the scene monitoring the situation. Jahnke Road was closed and train traffic is halted as well to allow firefighter to access the fire from the train tracks.

UPDATE: The worker was taken to a nearby hospital for the treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

All photos taken were with a 200-500mm lens and well behind all police tape.
