The Richmond Night Market (RNM) is preparing for its 6th season of fresh and unique experiences for the region. The Richmond Night Market will return Saturday, April 13th from 5pm to 9pm, featuring 30+ vendors, music by Kia Bennett, Live art by Naila and more!

This monthly open air social gathering held every 2nd Saturday, will continue to highlight creativity, commerce, and community while showcasing the layered and diverse aspects of the artistic scene. Attendees will be able to shop local and visiting artists, participate in interactive stations at the Makerspace and enjoy live music and a DJ to complete the night. “We are looking forward to the Richmond Night Market returning to the 17th Street Market to assist with the growing downtown arts and culture scene and continue to provide a platform of commerce for our small business and artisan community,” says Adrienne Cole Johnson, Co-founder of the Richmond Night Market.

Specifically aimed to highlight a curated number of independent artists during each Market, acceptance for artists is rolling and programming for the space is revolving. The goal is to keep the elements unique so that it becomes a natural part of your second saturday routine.

As Richmond continues to reconcile its past and as we necessarily remind ourselves of the 400 year anniversary of the enslavement of Africans on this land, it is no coincidence that the RNM will take place at 17th Street Market. “We have a lot of history to reckon with. My hope is that – at minimum – we add an additional layer and texture to the history of the space by continuing to re-program and recharge the energy of Shockoe Bottom.”, says Adrienne Cole Johnson, co-creator of the Richmond Night Market.

The Richmond Night Market welcomes sponsors to support this monthly event by making contact via email at [email protected] to express interest and learn more about sponsorship opportunities. Artisans, makers, creators and small business owners interested in vending opportunities are encouraged to apply via the link HERE.
