Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is partnering with Broadberry Entertainment Group on the Groovin’ in the Garden series, which includes five to six outdoor concerts this summer and fall.  Special consideration is being given to ensure a good fit for the performers and the venue. Announcements about additional upcoming acts will be made soon.

Tickets range from $51-$101. Levels are explained below; each section is first-come, first-served, so ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early.

  • Gold Circle: Directly in front of the stage, chairs provided, very limited tickets available.
  • Premium Lawn: Directly behind the Gold Circle and in front of the Lawn, chairs provided, very limited tickets available.
  • Lawn: Bring your own chair (blankets are NOT permitted).

The location of the concerts is the Cochrane Rose Garden at Lewis Ginter. For the Ben Folds concert, general doors open to the public at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Food and drink will be available for purchase in the Garden (outside food and drink are not allowed to be brought in.) Blankets, tents and canopies are NOT permitted. Guests may bring lawn chairs. The concert is rain or shine; no refunds. Bags must be CLEAR and no larger than 16″x16″x8″. Bags are discouraged as they slow down the entry process. If you bring a bag, you may be asked to wait in a longer line for entrance.  Guests have the right to refuse a bag search, and the venue has a right to refuse entry.

Ticket holders are encouraged to carpool and rideshare. The non-profit Garden is located at 1800 Lakeside Avenue, Richmond, VA 23228. Learn more at lewisginter.org.
