Person of Interest Sought in Chamberlayne Avenue Robberies

Fourth Precinct detectives are investigating several robberies that occurred in the daytime hours in the 2900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue.

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male in the photos who is a person of interest in multiple robbery investigations.

Fourth Precinct detectives are investigating several robberies that occurred in the daytime hours in the 2900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue.

At approximately 11 a.m., Saturday, January 20, a male entered a local business and stole an item from an individual and then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

At approximately 11:05 a.m., on the same block, another robbery was reported. Officers and detectives arrived and determined the suspect from the first reported robbery entered the business and displayed a firearm demanding money from an employee. The suspect stole money and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The individual in the photos is a person of interest in these investigations and detectives are seeking to identify him.
