The short story: Seven Rams scored in double figures and VCU buried 15 three-pointers on the way to a 60-point throttling of Mars Hill in an exhibition contest Saturday at the Siegel Center.
OPENING TIP
- Senior guard Zeb Jackson led the way with a 20-point, 10-assist double-double. He hit 5-of-10 treys and added six rebounds and a pair of steals
- Redshirt sophomore Jason Nelson led all players in points with 21 points and connected on 5-of-8 from beyond the 3-point arc. He added five assists
