The Zombies Will Raise and Walk on Saturday
This Saturday the streets of Cary will run red with the blood of zombies and their victims.
The 18th Annual Richmond Zombie Walk will take place on Saturday, October 28th, 2023.
Pre-walk meet up/staging area location at 1pm will be held at Boat Lake at Byrd Park (on Boat Lake Drive) and the actual walk will begin across the street from the Byrd Theatre (2901 W Cary St, Richmond, VA 23221) in Carytown immediately after at about 2:30 PM.
Want to get zombiefied and join in the fun? There are rules, really just common sense guidelines, that everyone needs to follow. Basic stuff like don’t touch folks without permission and don’t walk in the road.
Why do the zombies walk? For a good cause of course.
As of 2022 we will begin collecting donations to benefit Suicide Awareness and Prevention. As an organization, the Richmond Zombie Walk has been able to collect hundreds of dollars every year thanks to the generosity of its zombies. See? Zombies can give something back to the community instead of taking delicious brain matter. It’s a trade-off really.
