The Kickers had a chance to tie the game but missed on a PK and DCU squeaked by with a one-goal victory.

Once again Richmond Kickers didn’t provide a summary so we’ll turn to DC United for their limited summary below.

Bearing in mind this is the view I had of the game it definitely felt like the Kickers were the better team for long stretches of the game. It’s extremely unfortunate that Terzaghi missed his PK because I’m sure the game would have gone into extra periods and possibly penalty kicks.
