Deep Run High School’s theatre company, Out of the Woods, is set to present its spring play, Agatha Raisin & The Quiche of Death, which opens tonight.

The play is an obscure British comedy that tells the story of Agatha Raisin, who becomes a murder suspect when a judge dies after eating a poisoned quiche during the village’s annual competition. It follows Agatha as she works to solve the mystery and clear her name. The cast and crew have spent months assembling the production, including practicing their performances in British accents and constructing set pieces.

Last fall, the theatre company put on a successful production of Into the Woods, and they are hoping for a similar result with Agatha Raisin & The Quiche of Death. The show is set to run from April 27-29th in Deep Run’s auditorium, with each performance starting at 7 pm. Tickets cost $10 in advance and $12 at the door, and they can be purchased online.

The cast and crew are excited to present their hard work to the community and invite everyone to come and watch the enthralling murder mystery comedy, the group said in a news release. With an intriguing storyline and a talented cast and crew, Agatha Raisin & The Quiche of Death promises to be a must-see event.
