Paddle Club RVA Launches 2nd Season on James at Rocketts Landing

Sea Suite Cruises announces the launch of the second season of its popular cruise experience Paddle Club RVA on the James River at Rocketts Landing — booking cruises now for spring, summer, and fall!

For the 2023 season, Paddle Club RVA cruises will expand to an hour and 45 minutes – that’s a full 15 minutes more enjoyment on the water at the same price as 2022. Paddle Club RVA will once again bring a unique outdoor activity to Richmond, combining sipping-and-cycling, socializing, and sight-seeing on the scenic and historic James River. Following the success of the first season of Paddle Club RVA in 2022, the team behind Sea Suite Cruises is excited to once again bring this fun and adventurous recreational boating experience to residents and visitors of Richmond.

With Paddle Club RVA, passengers hop aboard a bright red, custom-built, 30-foot pontoon “cycle-boat” – featuring 10 cycle stations around a centralized bar plus ample lounge seating – and paddle their way up the James River while enjoying stunning skyline and water views, from just below the rapids at the I-95 James River Bridge to the northwest, back down to the quieter, calmer, leafier flatwater to the southeast. The boat is equipped with a motor if groups prefer to do more sipping and celebrating than cycling. With music, drinks, and friendly tour guides, Paddle Club RVA is a fun, festive, and memorable way to experience Richmond’s waterways with friends or family.

And later this spring, Sea Suite Cruises will debut Tiki Club RVA, which offers a one-of-a-kind “tropical vibes” excursion on the James River.

Sea Suite Cruises is excited to give Richmonders another season of fun and relaxation on the water with Paddle Club RVA – an on-the-river getaway on your own private, floating bar.”

ABOUT SEA SUITE CRUISES: Sea Suite Cruises co-founders Jack Maher and Jack Walten (“The Jacks,” as they are known) were born and raised in Arlington, Va. and have been best friends since they were two years old.
