Herbs Galore returns to the Carriage House Lawn at Maymont April 29th
Herbs Galore is not just a plant sale but a whole garden experience. Don’t miss this opportunity to surround yourself with nature, get inspired, and find what you need to create your own perfect garden.

Herbs Galore, one of the biggest and most anticipated plant sales annually, is set to take place on April 29th from 8 am to 3 pm. The Carriage House Lawn is expected to be packed with thousands of plant enthusiasts.
Over 70 vendors from central Virginia will be displaying their plants and garden-related products at the event. Visitors can find a variety of exotic plants and even merchandise infused with ginger, which was recently named the 2023 Herb of the Year by the International Herb Association.
Aside from plant vendors and garden accessories, Herbs Galore also features live music and food trucks. Visitors can take a stroll and enjoy the beauty of Maymont’s 100-acre grounds in all its spring glory. Devoted herb enthusiasts are known to bring wagons to carry their purchases, and a new plant-check zone has been added this year for this purpose.
Another addition to the event is the mini-tours of Maymont Mansion and The Robins Nature Center, included in the admission fee of $10 ($5 for children ages 3-12) and free for Maymont members and Museums for All program participants. The event aims to raise funds to support Maymont.
During the event, Maymont’s grounds, the Mansion, and The Robins Nature Center will only be open to ticketed Herbs Galore guests. The ticketed access will end at 3 pm, and the grounds will reopen to the general public from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Herbs Galore is not just a plant sale but a whole garden experience. Don’t miss this opportunity to surround yourself with nature, get inspired, and find what you need to create your own perfect garden.
