The announcement was made on Facebook.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of our beloved coffee shop. After much consideration, we have decided to close our doors for good at the end of this month. We know this make come as a shock given our previous announcement regarding plans to convert to an employee cooperative, but unfortunately we weren’t able to find a banking partner to help make this happen.

We are grateful for the support and loyalty of our customers over the years, and we will cherish the memories and friendships we have made. Thank you for your understanding and for being a part of our journey. Please come by and visit us for one last cup of coffee before we say goodbye. Our final day of service will be Sunday, January 29th.

To facilitate this transition, we will be selling everything in The Lab, as well as our coffee trailer. If you’d like to purchase something either for in-home brewing or as a souvenir, we’ll generally have everything marked at 50% of normal retail price. On the off chance that someone is interested in purchasing the entire operation and taking over, please DM us.
