HOW IT HAPPENED

• Trailing by a goal in the 81^st minute, junior Lana Golob fired a long-range shot from just across midfield. The Tribe’s junior goalkeeper Zoe Doughty deflected the ball into the center of the box and Jerabek placed it in the bottom-left corner.
• VCU put pressure on the William & Mary back line throughout the entirety of the first half. The Rams had several chances but were ultimately unable to find the back of the net.
• In the 12^th minute, redshirt-junior Emma Kershner struck a corner that missed Doughty’s outstretched arms and connected with the crossbar, narrowly missing the goal.
• Jerabek had the Rams final chance in the 108^th minute. The redshirt junior sidestepped a William & Mary defender in the box and blasted a shot that went just wide of the goal.
