Richmond-based Estes Express lines has been named among ‘Top Workplaces’ in Energage’s 2021 Top Workplaces USA award. Competing against more than 1,100 organizations, Energage honored the company with this distinction based on an independent survey of Estes employees examining proven performance indicators such as the organization’s values, management, policies, and technological innovation.

Energage’s Top Workplaces program calculated the results by comparing Estes employees’ responses across 24 categories against industry benchmarks built over 14 years of research across 66,000 organizations.

“Awards like this reflect both our culture and our future at Estes,” says Rob Estes, CEO of Estes Express Lines. “After 90 years in the industry, we’re still driven by our amazing and talented team. Valuing our people builds a better organization that takes better care of our customers and their freight.”

In the past year, Estes was also named a Top Company for Women to Work for in Transportation by The Women in Trucking Association, given Amazon’s Customer Obsession Award, and awarded The Home Depot’s Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) Carrier of the Year, among others.
