The Byrd Theatre Foundation has announced its annual holiday film schedule to the Byrd Theatre.

Family favorites like A Christmas Story, Elf, The Polar Express will delight young and old. Many of the films will include a sing-a-long with the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ and Bob Gulledge. An annual tradition for many is the It’s a Wonderful Life events on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

“We always see a great turnout for our holiday shows at the Byrd Theatre, but this year has been especially well attended, “said Ted Haynes, Byrd Theatre Foundation Board President. We can’t wait to see the Richmond community come out and join us for It’s a Wonderful Life on Christmas eve and Christmas Day. These shows have become family traditions for people and we love seeing the families come visit.”

“This year we have partnered with Hardywood Craft Brewery to bring a special Elf showing on Monday, December 23rd to the community. In addition to the Elf film and the organ sing-a-long, you’ll be able to buy Gingerbread Stout to enjoy while watching the film.”
