Home Invasion on Catherine Street

The suspects entered the residence and one of the suspects held the victim at gunpoint while the other searched the apartment.

On July 27th, 2019, at 3:42 pm, Richmond Police received the report of a home invasion robbery that occurred moments earlier in the 800 block of Catherine Street.

Brief description of how the crime took place: The suspects knocked on the front door of the residence and presented a handgun when the victim answered the door. The suspects entered the residence and one of the suspects held the victim at gunpoint while the other searched the apartment. Cash and a cell phone were taken. The suspects fled eastbound on Catherine Street on bicycles.

Suspect/s: Suspect #1: black male, about 20 years old, 5’8” in height with a faded haircut and was last seen wearing a tank top. Suspect #2: black male, about 20 years old, 5’11” in height, larger build and was last seen wearing a T-shirt.

Investigating agency: Richmond Police are leading the investigation.
