Expect all the usual suspects, including craft beer, vendors, a kids area, live music, and more.

Shamrock The Block, the first major street festival of the year, returns to the Boulevard this Saturday, March 16th.

North Boulevard will be shut down for the festivities between West Broad and West Leigh Streets, and food vendors from the neighboring Scott’s Addition neighborhood and beyond will be on hand.

Beer from neighborhood breweries and beyond will be available for purchase from several trucks as well.

Live music opens the festival at noon with Cracker Jackson, The Folly, and Redneck Pool Party on the festival stage throughout the afternoon.

There will be a kids’ area (the Boulevard iteration of the festival is much more family-friendly than the previous location in Shockoe Bottom) with face-painting, moonwalks and other inflatables, games, and more. Leashed pets are welcome.

The festival kicks off at noon and runs through 6:00 PM.
