HCPS holiday plant sales will make the season bright – and green

Deck your halls (and maybe deck your deck, if it’s really warm) with poinsettias, greenery and other holiday plants from Henrico Schools students at upcoming sales.

The horticulture programs at the Academy at Virginia Randolph and the ACE Center at Hermitage will both hold sales of student-grown plants in December. Come give your house the gift of holiday plants at a good price.

ACE Center at Hermitage Holiday Plant Sale:

– 6.5” poinsettias: $7
– 6.5” jumbo-sized potted amaryllis: $15
– 4.5” Christmas cactus: $4
– Fresh green wreaths, swags and more, priced at $15 and up.

When: December 5th-6th, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
When: ACE Center at Hermitage (greenhouse building), 8301 Hungary Spring Road

Poinsettia varieties include jingle bells, prestige red, maran, Polly’s pink and snowcap. All poinsettias and amaryllis are wrapped in foil. All items are grown and made by students. For questions or pre-orders, contact Jennifer Mazza at [email protected].

– 6.5” poinsettias: $8
– 8” poinsettias: $15
