Henrico County to host Energy Fair to promote clean energy, sustainability October 19th

The fair will feature vendors promoting energy efficiency, solar power, eco-friendly materials, recycling, and electric vehicles.

Henrico County will hold an Energy Fair Friday, October 19th to promote clean energy and sustainability.

The Fall 2018 Henrico County Energy Fair, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the courtyard at the Henrico County Government Center, located at 4301 E. Parham Road in the West End.

Scheduled in October in conjunction with Energy Efficiency Month, the fair will feature vendors promoting energy efficiency, solar power, eco-friendly materials, recycling, and electric vehicles. Refreshments and giveaways, including rechargeable power banks, will be available.

Tech for Troops will also be collecting used electronics for refurbishment and donation to military veterans and their families. Items such as laptops, monitors, tablets, cell phones, keyboards, and mice will be accepted regardless of their condition. For details, go to techfortroops.org.
