The Roots coming to Innsbrook as part of 106.5 The Beat Fest

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10:00 AM, with a special early bird price for the first seven days.

The Roots will play Innsbrook After Hours as part of 106.5 The Beat Fest on August 4th, organizers announced Monday.

The Roots are an American Grammy Award-winning hip hop/neo soul band, formed in 1987 by Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter and Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group is known for their jazzy, eclectic approach to hip hop which includes live instruments and their residency on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Special guests will be announced at a later date, and tickets go on sale this Friday, June 22nd at 10:00 AM. Early bird general admission is $21 for a week following their release; $31 afterward. Tickets are $36 at the door.
