After short stint Eggspress its closes doors

Hopefully the next business to move-in can stick around.

Another restaurant has failed to make a go of it at 10 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Eggspress had partnered with Dixie Bell’s Burger Bar to offer breakfast and burgers. Unfortunately, the venture was short lived lasting just three months. The building prior to that was home to Luncheonette and before that the coffee shop, Streetcar Cafe.

The following was posted on the Eggspress FB on the 9th:

With heavy hearts, we regret to inform you that we’re closing our doors. Due to a series of unforeseen circumstances, including plumbing issues, theft, & a recent revelation that our building is being sold, we’ve decided to move in another direction. We appreciate everyone’s kind words, reviews, and the support of the northside community. You’ll still be able to try all of your favorites via our food truck, pop-ups, and catering events. Please stay tuned to our social media feed for updates of where you’ll find us. This isn’t good bye, but rather, see you around!

The good news is that you’ll still be able to get their delicious egg sandwiches at pop-ups or catered events.
