We don’t know much about Dixie Bell’s Burger Bar (10 E. Brookland Park Blvd.) but we do like a good burger. Saturday will be their first day of slinging burgers to the neighborhood so swing on by so you can give us a report. If the burgers look half as good as the picture they’ve posted on Facebook, I’m sold.
Saturday, January 13th the doors will open at 8 AM with food and drink specials until close at 11 PM.
Brunch will also be on the menu with their partner Eggspress providing the goods but I’m really here for the burgers.
This is what they have to say about themselves on Facebook:
Dixie Bell’s Burger Bar will offer a casual dining experience with a focus on fresh local ingredients. Originally developed as a streetcar suburb in the late 1890’s, renewed interest in the commercial corridor of Brookland Park Blvd has sparked a revival that we are proud to be a part of. We’re slinging delicious burgers, crispy fried chicken, and craft beer; all from our convenient neighborhood location. Our goal is to offer local residents a place to kick back, relax, and enjoy a high-quality affordable meal with friends and family. We hope you’ll stop in and get to know your neighbors.
