Boulevard Bridge closed part of Saturday morning, down to one lane Saturday and Sunday

If you plan to use Boulevard (aka Nickel) Bridge this weekend be aware of possible delays and complete shutdown between 7-11 AM on Saturday.

Boulevard Bridge (VA 161) Westover Hills Blvd

— Traffic Control signs will be in place —
Richmond, Va., — The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces weekend closures of:

• Boulevard Bridge (VA 161) Westover Hills Blvd

o The Bridge will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC Saturday, September 23, 2017, 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM for bridge deck inspection and maintenance.

o One Lane Flagger Operations will occur Saturday, September 23, 2017, 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Sunday, September 24, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Motorists are reminded to pay attention to signage in the area, and to use caution while traveling through the work zone. This work will be weather permitting.
