Summer Style workshop with Chic Stripes at 804RVA

Staying cool and looking cool at the same time is no easy task. Tuesday’s workshop can help you achieve both goals.

My fashion style falls somewhere between wrinkled and vagrant. Don’t be like me.

Join Chic Stripes this Tuesday, June 2oth from 4 – 6:30 PM at 804RVA (1623 W Broad St) to get a few tips on looking good in the oppressive Richmond summer heat. Tickets are $45 and you get a 2 hour workshop on how to dress professionally and casually for summer heat over a little wine and snacks.

From the Facebook Event:

Does your professional + creative style come to a screeching halt in the summer? Do you default to flip-flops or those “just for the beach clothes” too often? Tired of your silky tops being perpetually stain-soaked? Or are you on the other end of the spectrum – wearing your fall/winter sweaters or favorite skinny pants indoors, only to burn up as soon as you step outside?

Learn the tips and tricks of dressing professionally and/or casually for hot weather (aka, humid, sweltering Richmond in the summer) while staying cool AND looking good (no trends here).

This workshop will cover what summer styles you should adopt (and what you should leave out!), what fabrics/shapes will work best, how to dress for your body shape, and where to shop for it all. Add wine + your favorite gals and you won’t want to miss!

Tickets are $45/person. Pay at the door option is available.
