Crews cleaning up 200 gallons of spilt cream near Scott’s Addition

Don’t cry over spilt milk–or cream for that matter. It’ll all be cleaned up shortly.

More than 200 gallons of cream was spilled at a PET Dairy plant in the 1500 block of Robin Hood Road Wednesday morning.

According to the Richmond Department of Public Utilities, the cream overflowed and spilled as the dairy was placing the ingredients into a truck. It then drained into the sewer system a short time after.

The cream is being vacuumed and the area should be cleaned up later today, officials say.
