Henrico Police to host series of open house events to strengthen community bonds

The Chief of Police will be on hand at three upcoming events to meet with business owners and residents and address questions and concerns.

Henrico Police Chief Humberto I. Cardounel, Jr. and his command staff are hosting a series of upcoming open house events in order to strengthen bonds within the community.

“The Henrico County Police Division recognizes the important role our community plays in keeping Henrico safe, and community engagement is a proven and effective way to reduce crime,” the department said in a statement. “To strengthen our community partnerships, Chief Cardounel and his command staff will be present at these events which are being held at each of our patrol stations.”

These events will provide an opportunity for the Chief and the captain of each station to meet directly with residents and business representatives as part of the ongoing forging of relationships and partnerships to reduce crime.

Schedule:

  • Central Patrol Station (7850 Villa Park Drive) – April 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM
  • South Patrol Station (561 Eastpark Court) – April 24th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM
  • West Patrol Station (7701 E. Parham Road) – May 4th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM
