Little Nomad offers quality kid’s clothing with a mix of hip-hop world and humor. Currently they’re mainly online but they’re hoping to change that and open a retail shop in Jackson Ward.

In order to make that happen they’ve started a IndieGoGo campaign.

Hey Young World. The World Is Yours.

The perfect line from Legendary MC Slick Rick. The ideal mantra for our brand, Little Nomad. We are dedicated to creating and sourcing engaging and meaningful goods for your little ones. Our brand, inspired by curiosity, exploration, and community, aims to be a modern alternative to typical retailers. Our name aims to express the wonders of life shown by our little ones. It also serves as our family’s acronym – Nora, Myka, Ant, Devan.

The Big Idea

The idea for Little Nomad came from an unexpected place. When we became parents in 2012,  we didn’t anticipate such a supportive and welcoming community of families.  We didn’t expect to become friends with other adults simply because we both had children. We didn’t expect to be in a babysitting cooperative.

Out of conversations with other parents in our community grew an idea for a shop that we feel our city is missing – a modern children’s apparel shop. We want to provide a space where ALL feel comfortable and represented; a space that showcases high quality, independently produced items that are accessible in price; a space that highlights our local talent and makers.
