The Henrico County Division of Recreation & Parks invites you to kick off your weekend a bit early every Wednesday in April with its “W.O.W.” – Weekend on Wednesday – events at Short Pump Park.

The series kicks off this evening, Wednesday, April 5th with live music and food trucks at the newly-expanded park on Pump Road in the heart of Short Pump. Each Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM through April 26th, there will be a number of dinner options and a different local entertainer to set the soundtrack for the evening.

The kids can explore the (huge) new playground while the four-legged friends can run in the dog park.

W.O.W. Series schedule:

April 5th: Out on a Limb

April 12th: Tom Devil and the Wizard

April 19th: Stonebrook

April 26th: Jonathan Austin
