Online fantasy sports are legal in Virginia, but that didn’t stop the NCAA from suspending five UR baseball players for participating in them.

Five University of Richmond baseball players were recently suspended from the team, and it’s for the most unlikely of reasons–fantasy sports. The organization, which governs collegiate sports, took issue with five unidentified players on the school’s team participating in an online fantasy sports league, sports website 12Up reports.
