Short Pump Town Center late last week announced a bevy of new shopping and dining options headed to the open-air center in the near future.

Five additional tenants will join the center in addition to Casa Del Barco, which announced it was taking over the former Tara Thai space that was vacated last month.

“As a shopping center, we continue to look for ways to evolve and provide our shoppers with experiences they can’t get online, said Kem Blue, Vice President and General Manager of Short Pump Town Center. “We offer a beautiful environment, sought-after local, regional, and national restaurants with alfresco dining options and family friendly events.”

Additional stores and restaurants are set to include the following, via a press release from the mall:

Talbots (Opening Summer of 2017) – Talbots, the women’s retailer known for its timeless modern classic style, will occupy a 3,832 square foot store featuring Misses and Petite collections. Talbots is a favorite amongst fashion bloggers and has also been spotted on celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Kelly Ripa, Kathie Lee Gifford, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba and Mila Kunis. Established in 1947, Talbots is a multi-channel retailer of women’s apparel, shoes and accessories.

Cava (Opening Summer of 2017) – This beloved Mediterranean-focused fast casual was formed in 2011 by childhood friends Ted Xenohristos, Ike Grigoropoulos, and Executive Chef Dimitri Moshovitis, who had the desire to bring modern, authentic fare to the masses after finding success with their full-service restaurants, Cava Mezze. CEO Brett Schulman helped to translate the full-service restaurant & recipes into this growing, better-for-you, culinary brand. Founding partner and Executive Chef Dimitri Moshovitis created a customizable menu of over 50 ingredients like their signature Crazy Feta, Spicy Lamb Meatballs, and Cauliflower Quinoa Tabbouleh as well as rotating seasonal offerings. Cava is committed to working with food partners that are best in class, and partners with local food artisans and farmers in each of the Cava Grill communities.

Cynthia Steele (Opening February 2017) – Cynthia Steele is Richmond’s premier full service dress salon featuring day, formal and after-six wear. The salon is your prime source for prom, wedding, black tie, white tie, career and business attire. Bespoke dresses and alterations are available by appointment. Brands include Terani Couture, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Teri Jon, Kay Unger, Aidan Mattox, Adrianna Papell, Elizabeth McKay, Nicole Miller, JAX Black Label and several others.

Great Steak/Surf City Squeeze (Opening March 2017) – Since 1982, The Great Steak and Potato Company has been serving the finest cheesesteaks in hundreds of locations across the United States and abroad. Now known simply as Great Steak, our menu has grown from a single cheesesteak to a complete line of specialty sandwiches, fries and baked potatoes. At Great Steak, America’s Premier Cheesesteak® is always grilled to order with only the finest ingredients, from our specially cut and marinated beef to our freshly baked bread.

Surf City Squeeze has been enjoying the radiant sunshine and rippling waves since it was created in 1981 in Phoenix, Arizona. Our fresh smoothie business was founded on two simple principles: quality products and genuine customer satisfaction. Surf City Squeeze’s proprietary smoothie mix is what makes our delicious smoothies special enough to make up 90% of our menu. Our menu promotes overall well-being to keep customers motivated to ride waves, hit the gym or simply take on their day-to-day routines.
