On Wednesday, February 1st, the median and inside lanes–both eastbound & westbound–of Broad Street, from Hamilton Street to 1st Street, are expected to close until the GRTC Pulse median stations in this area are constructed. In addition to the median and inside lane closures, motorists should anticipate lane shifts in areas where median stations are being built.

Traffic will be guided by weighted orange barrels, signage, protective fencing and concrete barriers. They are there for the general safety and well-being of the traveling public, as well as the construction company’s workers, a GRTC spokesperson says. Motorists are advised to slow down, obey all traffic signs and watch out for workers and pedestrians when traveling through work zones.
