Find out about CodeRVA, a new regional high school set to open in September

Focused on computer science, the school will offer the opportunity to complete high school requirements through a combination of blended (online and face-to-face) learning, integrated coursework, and project-based learning.

The next CodeRVA High School information session will be held at Huguenot HS on January 31, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Any interested student/family may attend. Attendance at these events is not required for applicants. Registration is not required.

CodeRVA (www.coderva.org) is a new regional public high school opening in September 2017 which builds on next generation school models across the nation that rethinks the use of time and space, leverage technology to personalize and accelerate learning, and redesign curriculum to align with competency-based progressions. Focused on computer science, the school will offer the opportunity to complete high school requirements through a combination of blended (online and face-to-face) learning, integrated coursework, and project-based learning. CodeRVA students will be provided an opportunity to graduate with a Virginia high school diploma, an associate’s degree from the community college system, industry certifications, and paid work experience in computer science-related fields.
