Enjoy the squishing of a thousand apples at Richmond Cider Celebration

The “thousands apples” mentioned above is a guess but I’m sure those apples that were harmed had it coming.




Hard Cider has been experiencing a renaissance in the area over the years. The week of November 11-20th is Cider Week VA. To kick off the week of cidery goodness the cider makers are throwing a party.

All your favorite cider friends will be there, ready to share their heady nectar.

Join Enrichmond Foundation and the Virginia Cider Association for the 4th Annual Richmond Cider Celebration Saturday, November 12th at the 17th Street Farmers’ Market.

Cider makers from across VA will be on hand for tastings, demos, and interactive workshops.

Don’t forget your tickets! Admission includes samples, a commemorative glass, and a wine tote.

The party is happening this Saturday, November 12th from 11 AM – 4 PM at the 17th Street Farmers Market. Tickets are available online and are $25.
