Check out this year’s Richmond Folk Festival poster at The Big Reveal

The Richmond Folk Festival is one of, if not the best, festivals in Richmond every year. You know the festival is getting close when you start seeing the poster popping up. We’ve been patiently waiting to see this first sign of the festivals return and checking out the new poster. The long wait is almost over.

We can’t tell what the official 2016 Richmond Folk Festival poster looks like. But we can tell you that this year’s artist is Katie McBride. If you show up at the Glave Kocen Gallery (1620 W Main Street) tonight for the RFF Poster Reveal Party you can check out the new poster and best of all it’s free.

Not only do you get to see the poster but Glave Kocen Gallery will be giving away a signed artist proof by Bob Masse and you’ll also have a chance to win a complete set of Folk Festival posters. That’s right every poster of that the Folk Festival has ever put out could by yours.

Artist Katie McBride will be on hand, as will past RFF poster artists. Food from Heritage, drinks from Loveland Distributing and music by Josh Small & Andrew Ali.
