Henrico Restaurant Week returns for fall iteration October 1st – 9th
The semi-annual event will benefit Henrico’s Christmas Mother program this time around.
Henrico Restaurant Week will return for a second time in 2016, from October 1st through the 9th, this time to benefit the Henrico Christmas Mother program, it was announced this week.
The semi-annual event will offer diners a chance to experience a taste of Henrico at a number of participating county restaurants, helping to raise funds for the Henrico Christmas Mother program at the same time. The program has assisted Henrico families since 1942. Since 2015, Henrico Restaurant Week has raised more than $12,000 for the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls–its spring beneficiary–and the Henrico Christmas Mother–its fall beneficiary.
The October edition will again offer diners the opportunity to enjoy two-course lunches for $10 or $15 and three-course dinners for $20, $25 or $30 at participating Henrico restaurants. Each restaurant will donate $1 from the sale of every fixed-price lunch and $2 from the sale of every fixed-price dinner during the week to the Henrico Christmas Mother program. Diners also will be able to make donations directly to the program through collection bins at participating restaurants.
Current participating restaurants include Tarrant’s West, Texas de Brazil, Travinia Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar, Union Table and Tap, Maggiano’s Little Italy, India K’Raja, Buz and Ned’s Real Barbecue, Mama Cucina, Plaza del Rey, Charles’ Kitchen, Trak’s Richmond and Deep Run Roadhouse, with more additions to come.
